This Privacy Policy explains how the AutoBPM Android app handles your data. By using the app you agree to the practices described below.

Information the app collects
The app does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use its features.
When you use the live BPM detection feature, the app accesses your device's microphone to estimate the beats per minute of the audio in your environment. Audio is processed locally on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server. No audio data leaves your device.
The app itself does not collect any other data, does not include analytics, and has no backend. We cannot identify you.
Advertising
The app displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve these ads, Google AdMob may collect information about your device, including:
- Your device's advertising ID
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Information about your interactions with ads
- Device and app information (for example, model, operating system version, app version)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent dialog the first time you open it, asking whether you wish to see personalised ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised based on your interests.

Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any other contact details.
- We do not record, store, or transmit audio.
- We do not collect location data ourselves (Google AdMob may, as described above).
- We do not track your usage of the app's features.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the advertising network, please contact Google AdMob directly using the link in the Advertising section above.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access information held about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for personalised advertising at any time, by clearing the app's data on your device or by adjusting your device's advertising settings
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local data protection authority
Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, most of these rights apply to Google AdMob rather than to us directly. Contact Google using the links above to exercise rights with respect to advertising data.
